"The second day of the retreat stayed deep in my heart. The moment of the Scream: we had to scream (...) and I did it with great freedom. In that moment I felt strong, and ready to fight the dragon. We had to jump into cold water. While I watched the others jump, I was truly happy for them. I was cheering for them. And when my moment came, inside me I was saying: 'Let me go! Go away! Go away!' and I screamed. While I was in the cold water I felt free. Then, at the moment when we were sitting near the fire, in the rain, eating, I thought: 'Where can I find guys like this, all together, from eleven different nationalities, all free, united in prayer?' Then I understood that only Jesus and Mary can do this! It was wonderful! I wish you all to cry out loudly to the Lord and that you may defeat the Dragon!"

"I want to give thanks to the Lord and the Virgin for having led me to Medjugorje and for having me meet Father Robert, who introduced me to this course.

They were wonderful days, to say the least.

I can state with complete confidence that it exceeded all my expectations. An experience I would recommend to anyone, especially to those who intend to grow in their journey of faith and feel the need to go deeper and to cast off every kind of mask in order to lay themselves bare before the Lord and before others (in this case, a dozen brothers from all over the world).

What we did in this retreat, apart from some exceptional events that were also particularly fun, was nothing more than simply being together. A being together that took on a fragrance of eternity, almost a taste of paradise made of simplicity, sharing, songs, laughter, glances, etc.

'For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.'

I would especially like to thank Father Robert and Richard for the effort they put into organizing all this and for having masterfully guided this seminar.

Succeeding in the difficult task of combining professionalism and spontaneity, seriousness and joy, responsibility and lightness.

Engaging and intimately touching each of us with profound and life-changing catecheses.

I will never forget the smiles of the brothers with whom I shared this experience, certain embraces, some words that touched my heart, the testimonies, the wounds of each person, the rituals, the blessings, nor the spirit of adaptability and adventure with which they faced everything.

But above all, what struck me the most and for which I am truly grateful to God, beyond the joy He gave us in abundance and which filled our hearts, is the Peace we breathed! An atmosphere of serenity where we could simply be ourselves, in an extremely spontaneous way, trying to place Jesus at the center and to be with Him and nothing more."
